Happy First Birthday to Harrison!
Harrison's mom Abby and I have been friends for almost a decade. We've taken road trips together, been on a mission trip together, and spent many evenings just talking enjoying each others company.
I always knew Abby would be a great mom. Her entire family exhibits such great kindness and generosity. I knew those same traits would be present in her mothering.
I remember when Abby told me she was pregnant with Amelia, her oldest child. It was when my daughter was just a few weeks old. Abby came over to visit. Having just had my baby I was ecstatic for Abby.
Miss Amelia is sweet (and sassy).
When Abby told me she was expecting her second child I was even more excited for her. I was also excited for Amelia too. Having a sibling is the greatest gift for a child. Harrison is a happy-go-lucky little boy who is dearly loved on by his big sister. These siblings are sure to be a treasure to each other their entire lives.
Happy First Birthday, Harrison! And Happy Birthday to Abby too - it's just as much a day of celebration for mom as it is for baby.
